We are really looking forward to what 2011 has in store for us because last year was a terrible year. Tragedies and unfortunate events were constantly thrown at us throughout the year which in turn affected our business.
Thank you to the lovely people who's always calling for our cakes and cookies. We hope this year there will be less "sorry we're not taking any orders at the moment" from us. The last postings we uploaded last year was in October, so here are a few pictures from November/December last year.

Well here we are in the new year and there's been ups and downs and a couple of tragic news. These past couple of weeks have been quite an eventful one which leads us to wonder what's in store for us this year. Good, bad.. hopefully good :)
January is coming to an end, but eventful or not, that doesn't stop us from going into our Cookie Jar kitchen to deliver our cakes and cookies.. :)

And also, I would like to say SORRY! for being so lame at posting up photos of your orders and sorrier still for losing half of this month and end of last year's photos when my CF card decided to die on me. So to those who's pictures of cupcakes I lost, soweeeee........

Altho a week late, The Cookie Jar team would like to wish everyone a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. It has truly been a crazy few weeks of baking and also preparing for the Hari Raya but by hook or by crook the cakes ordered must be baked and delivered. I only missed one, so so sorry Linda!
So busy that as usual, forgetful me forgot to take fotos of cupcakes/decorated cookies. We did quite a number of decorated cookies ordered for giveaways to kids at Hari Raya and finally the day before Hari Raya we had time for ourselves and quickly made a basket of decorated cookies for giveaways. It was a hit with the kids, better than ang pow i think :) why oh why did I forget to snaps fotos....

This post is especially for my darling nephew who's also celebrating his birthday today. Without fail he got his favorite brownie cake but in the midst of the decorating, making cocktail cupcakes for Kiara tommorrow, jotting down orders for next week, I forgot to take a photo of his cake. Dr Widya ordered a batch of our decorated cookies, a mixture of butter and chocolate for an expecting friend. She let us choose the shapes so naturally we chose shapes that's related to the pregnancy and used very soft colors for the icing.
